DiesDas & The Other ist ein Podcast über all die abstrusen Dinge, über die ich mir Gedanken mache.
In Folge 6 spreche ich über die Repräsentation von Frauen, queeren Personen und Personen of Colour in der Young Adult-Medienlandschaft (mit Verweis auf Shani Orgads großartiges Buch Media Representation and the Global Imagination). Konkret geht es um den Film “The Breakfast Club” (1985) und die auf einer Buchreihe basierende Syfy Serie “The Magicians” (2015) und darum, dass jede Coming-of-Age-Story im besten Fall etwas Fantasy Flavour hat.
